In November 2003 Stolen Mirror members meet for the first time and immediately understand their potentiality thanks to two short meetings in a studio.
They have a common passion for rock music and the strong will to leave behind their past experiences.
Anyway, according to Stolen Mirror, the official birth of the band coincides with the 22nd of January, when they actually played together for the first time and gave shape to songs as “Meanings”, “Not a perfect dream” and “Wasted words” (a preview of these songs is available in the multimedia section of this web site).
Thus they decide to dedicated themselves to their new songs.
In April, July and December they record their first, second and third demo-cds, recorded and mixed by Silvio Puzzolu at the “Puzzle Studios” of Turin. Demos contain many projects, chosen as the most representative of their style. In Jenuary 2005 they start to record their début-album.
Stolen Mirror policy is to record on their own in order to make their own artistic choices, free from other people’s pressures. Instrumental parts are recorded under the control of the guitarist Rick Romano, in the new-born Stolen Mirror studio.
During these months they cooperate with Max Gerardi who attends the management of the band. Max suggests them to record the vocal parts at the “Suoneria” recording studio in Settimo Torinese.
At the end of March, thanks to the excellent job made by Marco Astolfi, the vocal parts are ready and the cd can now be mixed by Rick Romano. During the same month, taking Max’s advice the band logo is designed and created by Francesca Mantovani.
Always in March, Domenico Sisi projects the official web site: www.stolenmirror.com .
From Jenuary to May Stolen Mirror take part in many gigs and shows. Here are the main ones:
- April, the 10th: in Piazza Castello, Turin – Gig for the political campaign “Adesso Bresso” promoting Mercedes Bresso for regional elections.
- Gig @ “Suoneria Auditorium”, Settimo Torinese – The event has been recorded by Marco Astolfi and it is now available in the music section of this website.

- @ “Why not” Pub, Turin – Various gigs for “Torino Sotterranea” music contest.
Each gig has been reviewed on local magazines. Some reviews are available in the multimedia section of their site.
In June the cd cover is designed and created by Max Gerardi & Francesca Mantovani, cooperating with the painter Chiara Gobbo.
In the same month Rick Romano cooperates with Paul Abbott and the Zen Mastering Studio of San Diego (California) where, after the single “Meanings”, in October, the entire album were mastered. In december the band print this record. In february they publish it and the album is now distribuited worlwide on iTunes.
